Mission
The mission of the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce is to represent the business community in the promotion of the prosperity and the quality of life throughout its service area.
Profile
For 105 years, the Chamber of Commerce has been the leading voice of business in Chemung County. Through efforts in such diverse areas as local, State and Federal legislation, small business concerns, tourism promotion and economic development, the Chamber of Commerce works daily to enhance the economic well-being and quality of life in Chemung County.
The Chamber of Commerce is the largest full-time, professionally staffed business organization in the Chemung County area. It is governed by a representative group of members serving as the Board of Directors.

As public policy issues are debated at all levels in numerous arenas, the Chamber of Commerce is at the table, representing the best interests of our community, our economy and our members.

Convention & Visitors Bureau
Promotes the development and advancement of tourism as an industry in Chemung County.
Member Services Council
Through a membership recruitment, outreach and retention program, ambassadors volunteer time communicating with Chamber of Commerce members.
Public Affairs Council
Represents the Chemung County business community on local, state and federal issues and legislation.
Leadership Chemung Committee
Coordinates the annual Leadership Chemung program aimed at developing future community leaders.
Golf Tournament Task Force
Meets monthly March through September to organize the Annual James V. Clune Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament. Coordinates details, contacts possible sponsors and assists during the event in August.
Showcase Auction Task Force
Meets monthly during the six months prior to the November event to organize and coordinate auction items, restaurant vendors and sponsors.
