Arnot Ogden Medical Center, St. Joseph's Hospital and more than 200 area physicians provide primary care, as well as a wide range of specialized services in virtually all areas of medicine.
 
Several adult care facilities, such as Bethany Village, Blakemore West, Elcor Health Services, Woodbrook Adult Home and the Chemung County Nursing Facility, offer the community a broad range of elder care choices from independent living to 24-hour nursing care. Eligible military veterans can visit a five-day-a-week clinic staffed in downtown Elmira by personnel from the Bath VA Medical Center.
