Economic Forum to focus on Building Community
The Chamber’s 2020 Annual Economic Forum will take place tomorrow, February 19 at the Holiday Inn Elmira-Horseheads on Water Street in Elmira. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with the program to follow at 8:00 a.m. The idea of the forum is to inform the business community about regional economic development projects or trends that are taking place. The 2020 event will explore dimensions of building community. The Economic Forum is produced by the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce and Southern Tier Economic Growth (STEG), and sponsored by Elmira Savings Bank. Once again, James Frame, District Superintendent/CEO of GST BOCES and Chair of the Chamber’s Public Affairs Council, will be the moderator.
