Kamala Keeley is President & Chief Executive Officer of the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Keeley has worked at the Chamber in various positions since 2006 and was promoted to her current position in July of 2016. She is the first female president of the Chamber in its history, since its establishment in 1905.

In her position, Ms. Keeley is responsible for facilitating and supporting opportunities to strengthen and enhance the local economy as well as advocating on behalf of the business community.

Ms. Keeley serves on the board of directors for Southern Tier Economic Growth (STEG), Twin Tiers Economic Development, Finger Lakes Wine Country, The Chemung County Child Care Council, The Chemung County Historical Society, and Wings of Eagles Discovery Center. Additionally, Ms. Keeley serves on the Advocacy Coalition of Rochester Area Chambers (ACRAC), Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Elmira Refresh Committee, Congressman Reed’s Regional Economic Recovery Team, ELM Marketing Committee, Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative (ESPRI) Elmira Task Force, Elmira City Club Board of Managers, Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC), and Southern Tier Vaccine Advisory Task Force.

Prior to her work at the Chamber, she held positions in small business management. Ms. Keeley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico.
